Here are some helpful tips for using the community laundry room:

  1. Check the Laundry Room Schedule: If you notice that their are peak laundry hours, it's a good idea to plan your laundry time around those periods to avoid waiting for available machines.

  2. Sort Your Laundry Beforehand: Save time at the laundry room by sorting your clothes before you head down. Separate colors, whites, and delicates to make loading the machines a breeze.

  3. Don't Overload the Machines: While it might be tempting to fit as much as possible in one load, overloading the machines can lead to subpar cleaning and longer drying times. Follow the recommended load sizes for optimal results.

  4. Check Pockets and Remove Items: Always check your pockets before loading your clothes into the machines. Leaving items like tissues or coins in pockets can cause problems for both your laundry and the machines.

  5. Use Proper Detergent and Softener: Use the right amount of detergent and fabric softener for your loads. Using too much can leave residues on your clothes and the machines.

  6. Set a Timer: Be considerate of other residents and set a timer on your phone to remind you to promptly remove your clothes when the cycle is complete.

  7. Fold and Remove Your Laundry Promptly: Avoid leaving your clothes unattended for an extended period after the cycle ends. This way, others can use the machines, and your clothes won't wrinkle.

  8. Keep the Laundry Room Clean: Be mindful of your surroundings and clean up after yourself. If you notice a spill or a mess, kindly inform the management or clean it up if possible.

  9. Respect Laundry Room Etiquette: Be courteous to fellow residents using the laundry room. Avoid taking up more machines than you need and be mindful of noise levels.
